Artist Statement:

When I use clay, I keep working at it, never reaching a solid end-point.  I like to get right inside the material, to immerse myself in it in such a way that I can’t see what I’m doing.  Experiencing the clay only through touch, my body starts to feel viscous and malleable.  I’m an unfinished substance, in a constant state of flux and reinvention.

Unfinished Substance starts at:

10 a.m.

12 p.m.

2 p.m.

4 p.m.

It lasts an hour each time.
